here's the students report......
the computer i've had a couple of problems with is nw12-326-sun3.mit.edu
basically, what i've noticed, at least, is that you can't move around your
windows when you have netscape running for a while.

meaning, i will open netscape, i'll surf around a little, and when i want
to do something on the xterm window and try to pop it up so that it's in
front of netscape, it won't do that. and trying to move either the xterm
or netscape windows doesn't work - they are fixed at the location where
you place it, at the size it's at.

i've only noticed it twice, or three times, at most, and it's only when
i'm running netscape. i can type real well without looking at the
terminal, so it hasn't bothered me that much (i'm sure other people who've
encountered this, if there are any, probably are the same way) but it's
just kind of a little bit inconvenient, that's all.

what i do to try to solve this, is close netscape, and then open it again,
but even then, netscape will not resize/move after it has been placed. so
each time i really need to use the xterm, (meaning, i have to look at
something which is covered by netscape's opaqueness) i have to close
netscape. it's not a big deal, since these computers rock, and are
extremely fast, but, a pain nevertheless.
