Hello
You are invited to bid Ted Ts'O farewell and best wishes at lunch on
Friday. After 9 years Ted is resigning from MIT in order to pursue
Advanced Linux Development at VA Linux Systems (aka VA Research). VA
Research is a company which makes hardware especially designed for Linux,
and Ted will be working on high performance filesystems as well as security
at VA.
Lunch will be held at the China Pearl Restaurant, 9 Tyler Street, Boston at
11:30 am on Friday May 28th. They have Dim Sum or you may order from the
menu with luncheons ranging from $5.50 to $14. If you want to travel with
others to the restaurant, please meet at the Kendall Sqaure Boston bound
subway station entrance at 11:10 am. The reservation is under my short
name "Susan Minai".
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Sally Persing (sjpers@mit.edu,
x3-7646) before Thursday noon so that we may supply a count to the
restaurant.
