I hope this is not intended as the rude reprimand which it comes across
to be.
I found the desk in its uppermost, broken position, attempted to lower
it. I then determined that my efforts were more likely to cause damage
than to correct the situation, so I reported it to hotline.
I have not in the past received updates regarding broken hardware which
I have reported to hotline, which is why I am bothered by this one. If
reporting in the future will get more "YOU'RE AN IDIOT DON'T BREAK THE
HARDWARE"-type replies, it certainly doesn't encourage me to continue
helping the Athena support staff do their jobs effectively.
