The brand new mouse (about 2 weeks old) on tum-tum-tree is dead.
More specifically the left and middle buttins are very difficult to
push, and the 2 rolling feet (instead of a ball) don't work.
However, the machine will still start up X. This causes the problem
that people can login and not be able to logout.
BTW: I just rebooted the machine to log someone out and nothing was fixed.
