Hi Bob,
Cluster-services has recieved your e-mail about athenizing some sun
workstations. In answer to your question about a floppy disk, it depends
upon the type of sun one is trying to athenize. In addition, there are
fees that need to be paid by the department for the use of the athena
software and for the maintence of the machines. This is about $650.00 per
year.
Before I can athenize anything, I will need to see the machines to be sure
we have an install process for them. I will also need to be sure we have
node names and ip addresses for the machines.
