Greetings,
This Sunday, at the usual Sunday 6am restart, all Athena AFS fileservers
will restart using new binaries that include a patch to prevent a serious
problem interaction between the fileserver and sgi machines in certain
wierd states.
There is no extra downtime expected with this patch release, nor any
expected visible change in the normal behaviour. This announcement is to
warn in case there are any unforeseen difficulties.
