Prof. Rowell had left 141- v-mail stating that the ultra10 at the above
location was having network problems and was down. Chris & I had troubleshooted
this system to find that a UTP cable was missing. The scenario was a bit
confusing because of the A.V. setup and the spaghetti situation. For the record
there are 2 utp network cables that run behind & attached to some A.V. hardware
that are in turn connected to two utp ports at the wall. The 3rd & missing utp
cable connects from the front of the A.V. hardware marked network and runs to
the back of the ultra10 cpu. We have supplied another utp cable, and all has
been restored to normal operation.
