Between midnight and 4 AM on Wednesday 12/30 (Tuesday night) there
will be several server outages.
The AFS file server styx will be shut down in order to upgrade system
software. This outage should be less than an hour long, but may not
start right at midnight.
The AFS file server prometheus will be shut down to add more RAM. This
outage should be less than 90 minutes long, and will start when the
styx outage is over.
The FTP server aeneas (athena-dist.mit.edu, but not prep.ai.mit.edu or
ftp.gnu.org). will be shut down to move it to a more permanent
location with UPS power. This outage should be less than an hour
long, and will start when the prometheus outage is over.
