Hello,

Our research group in the Dept of Mechanical Engineering is interested in
converting one of our workstations to a private Athena workstation. I want
to get some information on what kind of hardware is required (esp. RAM,
hard disk space) and what type of machine is preferable.

Our candidates are an SGI Indy that currently has only 32MB of RAM and
500MB of hard disk space, and a Sun Sparc5 whose configuration I haven't
been able to determine. How could I figure out the hardware configuration
on the Sun, and which machine would be a better one to Athenize (with
storage expansion, if necessary)?

thanks for your help,

Youssef Marzouk
