Hi, I have been trying to contact someone at this email address for two
months and have gotten no reply. Here is my situation:

I have an SGI O2 in my lab running IRIX 6.3. I don't want to do a full
Athena install on this machine, but I do want to be able to run Athena
software. I've already installed Kerberos 5 and AFS on the machine (AFS
is now compiled into the kernal), as well as some necessary Athena
binaries, and I've gotten to the point where I can attach/detach
lockers, and run some software.

However, when I try to run most licensed software (for example, Matlab
and Maple), I get a segmentation fault. I tracked it down, and it occurs
at the point in the wrapper scripts where it's running "unwrap" (located
at /afs/athena/system/slw/unwrap). I'm assuming that this program is
supposed to decrypt a DES-encrypted version of the actual application
binary file, but this is where it's failing and I'm getting a seg
fault. I thought it might be because I don't have the right license or
something, but I can't figure it out.

So, what do I have to do to make this work? If I need to pay some kind
of usage fee, I will. Please just let me know how to get this working! I
have not gotten any kind of response and I need to get this software
running as soon as possible. Email is the best way to reach me.

Thanks very much,

		- Matt
