Hello,

for quite a while we have been getting the following message in the
syslog of our machines:

unix: WARNING: ARP: MAC address is 0 for IP address 18.63.1.9

while this is only annoying and filling up the syslog files (about one
entry per hour) it might indicate a defect (or misconfiguration) of that
machine, so I thought I let you know. It seems to be an Athena machine
located in the basement of bldg 66 (nslookup 18.63.1.9 ->
M66-080-9.MIT.EDU)

Stefan
