I visited 4-035 today and observed that access to large files via AFS is
not working well and this jibes with the biosym problem reports. It
appears, to me anyway, a physical problem to 4-035 and the surrounding area
- - AFS is usually one of the more sensitive protocols after AppleTalk.

Large file downloads aside, the cluster appears to be functional.
Contractors are scheduled for tomorrow morning to help us isolate this
problem.

I'll know more tomorrow..

						- Tom
