There is an inconsistency between reality, the hosttable, and the
Athena database that needs to be resolved.

1. Hostcheck shows that there is an Athena workstation named
'peo' at IP address 18.53.0.33 and hostinfo agrees:

%hostinfo peo
Desired host: peo
Official name: peo.MIT.EDU
Host address: 18.53.0.33
Host info: SUN/SPARCSTATION-5/SOLARIS

2. But there is no machine named 'peo' in the Athena database nor
is there a machine that has the IP address field listed as
18.53.0.33.

3. On the other hand, the Athena database contains a machine
named 'physics' located in 4-352, belonging to the Physics
department.

4. But hostinfo says that the machine named 'physics' is a PC:

%hostinfo physics
Desired host: physics
Official name: physics.MIT.EDU
Host address: 18.74.0.50
Host info: COMPAQ/PC/WINDOWS

5. To resolve this, I actually went to 4-352 and logged onto a
machine whose login screen says it is named 'physics' and whose
/etc/athena/rc.conf file says that its IP address is 18.53.0.33
(which the hosttable says is the IP address of 'peo').

Something needs to be fixed so that hostinfo, hostcheck, the
Athena database, and reality all agree. I'm not sure what that
is, but I'm sure you guys do. Please let me know how it gets
resolved.

		Thanks - Naomi
