Phyllis Collymore reports that the SPARCclassic with SN 432F2634
that was once named 'orc' and that formerly resided in 33-222 was
temporarily moved by Athena to 33-105 where it was renamed 'pali'.
(The record in our database has this location but no node name
listed)
The machine is no longer needed there (having been replaced by a
Dell machine that has assumed the name of 'pali') but they would
like to move it (i.e. the Classic) to the home of one of their
Technical Instructors, Donald Weiner in 33-115. Although this
machine is eligible for renewal, they are not asking for a new
machine at this time. Phyllis realizes that the Classics will not
be able to take the new release in the Summer of '99 and that the
Classics will be totally desupported as of December 31, 1999.
Can someone please get in touch with Phyllis (pcollymo) to
schedule move of this machine and select a new name for it?
thanks - Naomi
