I think the hard disk on sidney is going to fail soon. It's making
very loud keening sorts of noises. Sidney is a sparc 5 located in
e40-315.
I also left a message earlier today on voicemail about Indiana.
Indiana is still having problems. Whenever anything on the screen
moves it suddenly becomes coated in lots of vertical lines (usually
teal and black ones). This makes screen savers look very special. A
ew theories around E40 are that the video card is bad or there's some
bad memory. Thge other theory is that I'm cursed and shouldn't touch
anybody elses machines.
