When printing homework on Picus (the printer in the E51 cluster) early
this afternoon, I noticed a couple of problems.
First, the output is unusually faint and grainy; thin curves look
particularly bad.
Second, there seems to be some sort of odd spooling behavior; when I
printed the document from my personal Linux workstation (tux.mit.edu),
I received a Zephyrgram telling me that the job had finished (as
usual), but when I went to pick it up, I saw only a cover sheet for

which is odd because I don't believe arussell ever logged into my
machine, or has any way to. When I printed the same document from a
machine in the cluster, it came out normally.
Notes:
* I requested that neither of my jobs have a header page.
* arussell had other jobs in the queue.
* I have a header page illustrating both problems if anyone wants to
take a look at it.
