To the MIT Community:
As of October 1st, Physical Plant is changing it's name to the
Department of Facilities.
We have changed the name because the term Facilities accurately reflects
what we truly are: a planning, designing, constructing, utilities
distributing, mail processing, cleaning, landscaping, and maintenance
service for the MIT community.
For more information, please see the related article in the 9/30/98 Tech
Talk (p. 4), and visit us at the MIT Annual Vendor Fair on October 1st
in McDermott Court 9:00-3:00.
