So ceres was randomly jamming again when feeding from tray 2. I
looked at this a bit more, and it appears that the middle roller for
that tray is actually misinstalled and/or broken; it keeps slipping
and disengaging from the gears. This causes the paper to fail to feed
out of the tray, and the printer falsely reports a jam. (I'm not
going to fix this, because it requires doing open-heart surgery on the
printer.)
I also noticed that ajax's tray 2 was once again set for the wrong
paper height, which causes the paper to feed it in at an angle.
