The Parsons printer was reported constantly jamming, as well as having many
tiny random dots of toner all over the output. Kyle, I have looked at this
printer, and have found a tiny piece of paper trapped in one corner of the
paper guide (just over the roller), in which I have removed. Have also found
the output with a blank vertical line which was scoring the paper. Have
examined the fusing unit, which was found to be badly scored and will need
replacement. The feed rollers look a bit worn as well.
Nichole (at X8-6056) will definitely need a 4SI maint kit, and the printer
still jams from time to time. The printer queue was also found in the UNLOCKED
state, in which many of the menu items were changed. I believe that I have
restored the menu where it should be, and have locked it back up.
Kyle, the printer will still need your service call for fine tuning.
