A VAXstation II/RC in 37-318 is reporting hard and soft disk errors.
Machine: m37-318-11
Serial Number: wf62607986
Yesterday, I ran 'rabads' on it, which reported 0 bad blocks. I re-installed
software from tape, then logged in and the system seemed ok. Today, I logged
in as root, checked /usr/adm/messages and saw that several hard disk errors
were logged since yesterday. I then attempted a normal Xlogin session--
several hard disk error messages appeared in the console window, and the
system seemed to hang. With the 'restart' button, I attempted to reboot
the system with the commands

The system halts with a hard error on /dev/ra0a.
This has been happening repeatedly over the last few weeks. Maybe DEC should
look at it.
