hi, we just got a question in olc from Sally Buta <sally@mit.edu>. Her
professor has a private athena workstation, an Indy, with only 32MB
installed, which she is maintaining. it (unsuccessfully) tried to take
the new release. the machine is currently working but in a fragile state
(it has some of the old 8.1 binaries, some of the new 8.2 config files).
they would like the machine upgraded to 64MB and athena reinstalled. they
have backed up the password files and srvtab on the machine, and there
should be nothing else on the machine that they need to keep.
sally's contact info is:
name: Buta, Sarah H
email: sally@MIT.EDU
phone2: (617) 253-8127
office: 13-4069
department: Materials Science And Eng.
school: School Of Engineering
the name of the machine is:
LATTICE.MIT.EDU
the case is still in olc, under the username 'sally'. let me know if you
want me to email a transcript to hotline.
thanks!
