The outage of prill that was orginally scheduled for 8/25 was
cancelled because the outage would have conflicted with the AFS backup
cycle. The outage has been rescheduled for this evening ; included is
the text of the original announcement:
> The AFS databse server Prill will be down early Tuesday morning
> starting at midnight for a hardware upgrade.

> SCHEDULE:
> Prill be down for approximately 30 minutes sometime between
> midnight and 8am on Tuesday.

> REASON:
> Prill is being replaced with new hardware.

> SERVICES:
> AFS database service
>
> IMPACT:
> The outage of Prill should also not cause user problems, as
> all data on Prill is replicated. Users may see 'lost contact with
> volume location server' messages, however.
