In the rc.conf he has PUBLIC=false and AUTOUPDATE=true; uname info is:
"SunOS molly 5.4 Generic_101945-37 sun4m sparc"; hesinfo shows no cluster
info(?), there is no /var/athena directory.
The problem is, in fact that there was no hesiod information. I
suspect this happened in July of 1997 when the machine was physically
moved, and has to do with how the machine's record was updated in
moira. I've added the machine to the "kluge-sun4" cluster which should
update it to 8.1). Once the machine has taken that update it will be
safe to move it into the public-sun4 cluster. (The reason I want to
do this in stages is that no one has tested an update from 8.0
directly to 8.1, and I son't want to do so on a Prof's machine that
can't be re-installed.) With luck, the machine will take the 8.1
update tonight, and hesreq will be able to set ti up for 8.2 over the
weekend.
