Andrea,
given that it's finally starting to seem like summer,
I'd like to propose the shutdown be started earlier
in the day (6AM?).
We will need to have someone present to install a
ventilation fan at the entrance of 24-029 before the
start of the shutdown - the equipment in this room
serves as the main interconnection point for ALL of
MIT's computer network. A failure here would mean
no network service anywhere on campus.
