It was reported that the combo was mal-functioning again. I had called in
Campus Security, who saw the access pas in this state as well. They have
re-wired some connections, and have installed a diode in the striker. We will
now see what happens at this point. If this failure should persist, another
type of access pad may be needed, which would mean that some sort of
constuction would need to take place to accommodate the new access pad. Now a
wait and see issue.
