strange printer error

There was an error with the peecs printer.
I saw this job listed:
active dderksen 310 /tmp/ThePaper.ps.BA15f4 178818 bytes
The printer spewed out over two reams of (mostly) blank pages
for about 30-40 minutes before printing this job. Many of the pages
had a few characters on one line at the top. Could you please fix
this, and find out if the problem had to do with the printer or
the job sent to it ? Thanks.
