Not sure if you guys know about this, but I've noticed in the
back room SGI section of W20, I get a _lot_ of packet loss. This makes
logging in and doing anything very slow, and it has been this way for
at least 4-5 months... Just ran ping to mit.edu:
----mit.edu PING Statistics----
1000 packets transmitted, 831 packets received, 16% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 2/4/97 ms
Over the course of the problem I typically get 15-25% packet loss.
The SGI's in the front room don't have the problem, and I have never
tested the Sun's in the room. Thanks.
