"arcadia.mit.edu"  is an Athena  private workstation. If Tom needs help,
he will be contacting you.


Tom to change hostname and ip address an Sun Sparcstation:

Disconnect your system from the network
go to the root directory
at the # prompt typoe: /etc/athena/solaris_reconf

Will be prompted for new hostname:  arkadia
Will prompt for new ip address:     18.55.0.181

You may see a bunch of errors ignore thm after 3minutes,
will wiull get the prompt

type SHUTDOWN, bring system to new location, and power up.
