Subject: 2.5 bad machines in 3-462
Hello,
I've got 2 dead SGIs and 1 with a bad HD. All 3 are in 3-462. Please
bring some replacement parts :)
The dead machines are: godred.mit.edu and trevor.mit.edu
The machine with a bad HD is: georges.mit.edu
I have tried reinstalling the OS numerous times on godred and trevor, but
they die anyway. The HD on georges is very noisy (you can hear it from
anywhere in e room - its the loud whining sound), and I fear the disk will
crash any day now.
My phone number is 258 0510, and i'll be around tomorrow (thursday) or
tuesday, wednesday, and thursday of next week. godred and georges have ME
dept locks on them, trevor has athena locks on it.
