While updating the clustermap for w20 I decided to check what
printers they were set for and I found the following things that
wanted changing
athena% hes w20-575-36
CLUSTER: syslib athena-sun4sys-80 8.0
CLUSTER: syslib public-sunsys
CLUSTER: syslib athena-sun4sys-81 8.1
CLUSTER: lpr pulp
this machine is less that 5 feet from ajax so the printer should
be changed to ajax
--------------------------
athena% hes w20-575-88
CLUSTER: lpr pulp
CLUSTER: syslib athena-sun4sys-80 8.0
CLUSTER: syslib public-sunsys
CLUSTER: syslib athena-sun4sys-81 8.1
machines 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, and 96 should be changed to fiber
--------------------------
W20-575-99 is an alias for the machine HANGUK which appears to be
at KSE, perhaps it should be reclaimed....
--------------------------
athena% hes w20-575-112
CLUSTER: syslib public-sunsys
CLUSTER: syslib athena-sun4sys-81 8.1
CLUSTER: lpr ajax
CLUSTER: syslib athena-sun4sys-80 8.0
this machine is 15 ft from pulp and should thus changed
---------------------------
113, 114, 115, 116, and 117 should change to pulp as that is
closer that fiber
-------------------------
w20-575-121 should be pulp
-------------------------
athena% hes test-sparc4
CLUSTER: lpr ajax
CLUSTER: syslib public-sunsys
CLUSTER: syslib athena-sun4sys-80 8.0
CLUSTER: syslib athena-sun4sys-81 8.1
this machine should print to pulp
------------------------------
athena% hostinfo w20-575-129
Desired host: w20-575-129
Official name: w20-575-129.MIT.EDU
Host address: 18.187.0.150
Host info: SUN/SPARCSTATION-CLASSIC/SOLARIS
I don't know if you particularly care, but many of the machines
are mislabeled (as the above, we certainly don't have any
classics anymore) as the wrong sort of sun. the map at
/afs/sipb.mit.edu/user/nocturne/maps/w20-575 has what I think are
current machine names, locations, and types
-------------------------------
test-sgi seems to be the only machine without a number as a
cname, perhaps it should get one
