This workstation has been difficult to login to. Many times
the monitor is black, and it will not respond to a mouse
click or the keyboard. I've checked connections and they
look fine. When the Athena Login window does appear, I am
able to login but get a single xterm window with a prompt
like ">". If I try to logout at this prompt, I get an
error message like "Not a login shell." Will it help to
turn the machine off and on? Any recommendations would be
helpful!
