was 'central' reinstalled or replaced?

'Central' in the test cluster in N42 is now a sparc 5, which was
installed or reinstalled on Wednesday night.
Was the software reinstalled then, or is this a new machine? I think
it was a sparc 4 on Tuesday...
If it is a new machine, where is the old one?
'central' was being used to test some third party software, and wasn't
a generic cluster machine. I fear this was not passed along to the
right people, or was forgotten.
If the old central is still around and hasn't been reinstalled yet,
it'd save me some time if I could access it and capture the last state
of the software. (It wasn't critical enough that I felt the need to
keep constant backups in case of disk failure, but I didn't expect the
machine to disappear)
