Hi Jonathan (et al). I've received the new HP LaserJet 5si MX to be
added as a second Athena printer here at WHOI and am interested in
moving on installation/configuration.
WRT updating "quahog" to 8.1 - where do we stand with this?

Is there anything special required in terms of cabling this new printer
the our LAN? It doesn't require an IP address, does it? Our current
Athena printer, "scallop", doesn't (I believe).
To review:
- "quahog" should be a second print and bootp server for this new
printer (can we call the printer "mussel"?)
- "mussel" should be the default system printer for "quahog" and
"menhaden"
- "scallop" should be the default system printer for "tautog" and
"squeteague"
- both printers should be accessible from all WHOI Athena workstations
- all WHOI Athena workstations should probably be upgraded to 8.1 if
they aren't already, if possible.
