We rebooted the router due to some information that we saw. This
happened on Friday. Here's the posting that we sent to netusers mailing
list:

We have discovered a software problem with the MITnet
router located in E19. This problem has a serious
effect which is not widespread at this time.

In order to clear this, we need to a cold restart of
the router. We will do this at 6PM TONIGHT. A short
outage which could last up to 5 minutes will result.

We apologize for the short notice; hopefully the Friday
evening time will minimize the impact to our users.
