while i was gone someone appeared to reboot my screensaved
workstation. now it is stuck with a
warning: unable to repair the /var filesystem
run fsck manually. type control-d to processd with normal
startup...
blah blah blah
and it repeats this prompt and won't reboot, no matter what i type.
