In my office I have 2 sparc classics which are ready to replace the
m12 and e51 xcluster machines. I believe you still have the monitors
for these machines. The machines have little rubber anchor pad feet,
but you'll need to supply the pad itself (whatever is already there
may suffice. The machines should be deployed *without* a keyboard or
mouse. It is set up so that you should be able to just plug all of
the cables in, turn it on, wait a few minutes, and it should be
displaying the xcluster screen. Note that it will not appear to be
booting after you turn it on (the screen may even be all white or all
black), but it is booting, be patient.
I'd appreciate it if you could leave the DECstations they are
replacing outside of our stockroom in e40-008.
