hi
in 12-182, the side door is outfitted with a doorstop
that involves a metal peg screwed into the floor,
which interacts with a springloaded device at the bottom
of the door.
today i tripped over this peg on my way out.
also, i often see the door held open by way of this
doorstop and this might be a security hazard (despite a `convenience' =)
for these reasons, i recommend you remove the metal peg
from the floor. it appears held down by three screws.
if there is a concern of ruining the carpeting, it can
be replaced with a flat metal plate screwed down (instead of the peg)
thanks
mike
