On the machine M1-142-12, the console repeatedly shows the
message
14:16 le0: No carrier - cable disconnected or hub link test disabled?
It's not completly messed up, because I can log in and do things,
but it appears to take it multiple tries to do things like
inc mail and show zephyrs, since that causes multiples of
that error message to show up.
