I just came accross this in a olc question log:
>When I logged in today, I was forced to use a temporary file, so I did.
>Anyway, I incorporated all of my mail and viewed it, and now I would like
>to print one letter out since everything in this temporary directory will
>vanish when I log out. Well, when I try to print out the letter, nothing
>happens. The command is not acknowledged (I receive no Athena prompt!)
Another consultant sent you this message:

I've had lots and lots of problems with this machine. It doesn't appear to
connect to the network very well. Users alway log in, then can't get there
homedir. The problem is they can't get anything off of the machine. At
least that's been my experience a couple times previously with this
machine. I think the problem is with the machine.
