Sorry I didn't send anything out until now. Matisse, the OLC
server lost its disk controller after Friday night's power hit. In
order to restore service I "borrowed" one from one of the VS2/RCs
currently mothballed in the basement.

Replacing the controller board definitely got matisse back in
service. However just the moving around of the cables may really have
been what fixed it. In other words the controller I removed should not
be considered bad until it is tested in some other machine. To
facilitate this testing I installed it in the VS2/RC that I obtained
the new controller board from. I don't have its serial number at the
moment (I am typing this from home, and the paper with the serial
number is in my office). However the machine is clearly labeled as
having a "suspect" disk controller board, so there should be no
confusion.
