We have installed 3 maintenance kits on thesis within the last couple of
months and we are averaging less than 5,000 pages between installations.
The fan seems to be working fine but the fusing area is extremly hot. Cleaning
the fan and a new maintenance kit is not the solution to our problem. The
fusing unit is overheating. We need this problem fixed as thesis is used for
thesis and resume output and the users are real picky, as they should be,
about the quality of the print. Please make Dec aware of the problem as
we have had different people work on the printer and they probably assume
that the fan cleaning is the correct solution.
