Machine m12-182-23 exibhits some AFS errors while it boots, and
then, just argter it proclaims "The system is ready.", a message
shows up on the console:
fatal: Need at least one database configured in /etc/vold.conf
The machine does not boot into X. It has a prompt reading
m12-182-23 console login:
