SECOND REQUEST!
Can someone please tell me the status of our request to repair
whoareyou.mit.edu located in Room 1-270. It has been down for approx.
3-months and I did hear from Jennifer Crockett stating that the dept.'s
bill was not paid. Well, we did give our CEE Hdqtrs. our account
numbers covering our machines, and Melissa Manolis, who is handling
this invoice, spoke with people in your Acctg. office and assured us
that it would be repaired. I don't know if the entire bill has been
processed yet.
Your present acctg. system of processing ONE bill
with numerous computers on it for the whole
department<underline> "absolutely" does not work. </underline>
I've had our IT computers on a datbase with account numbers, etc. for
weeks -- however, we are suffering because this invoice hasn't been
processed. It hasn't been processed because other faculty/staff are
not as efficient in getting their info. to Melissa.
Is it possible for me to receive a separate bill for our machines? We
do not want to be included in bill for the entire CEE department. I
can let you know what machines we support. Unfortunately, this
particularly "whoareyou" is supported by Academic account, but Melissa
has cleared it with I believe Jennifer Crockett to give the OK for
repair.
Please let me know the status of Repair log for "whoareyou" and also on
another note -- what information you will need for a separate bill for
our machines.
Thanks for you help,
Joan
