printer problem in bldg. 66 cluster (homer)

One of the printers in the bldg. 66 cluster (homer) shows "00 READY" on its
display and is online, but when I lpq it I get:
athena% lpq -Phomer
PAPER-PUSHER.MIT.EDU... Printer Error: may need attention! (paper out)
and there are about 40 print jobs in the queue. Also, this leaves no working
printers in the bldg. 66 cluster.
