I am having trouble with my ethernet connection in Eastgate. I think
it may be a network problem. Am I contacting the correct help line?

I cannot connect with the rest of campus. My computer cannot see any
network activity. I went to an athena cluster and pinged 18.97.0.20 through
18.97.0.30 which appear to be repeaters for Eastgate
(ex: E55-100T-REP-1.MIT.EDU). All but 18.97.0.27 and 18.97.0.30 responded.
These are the ones for the 19th and 28th floors. I am on the 20th floor
and it appears I am affected (with 18.97.0.27 not responding). I also tried
fingering my computer (piranha.mit.edu also 18.97.1.26) which is running a
finger daemon (CRDCfing 2.05). Currently there is no response, though the
computer is on and operating properly.

Thanks,

P.S.: Please let me know if I should direct this question/problem elsewhere.
