Subject: Printer CAES in 9-366 fixed

From: "Kyle E. Pope" <ndpope@MIT.EDU>

Guys,
Carlton called in a problem with CAES, a 4si in 9-366 recently.
The problem was that the display panel would output a LANG=ENGLISH message upon
completion of self test and would not go ready without hitting enter or
online. The only two things that could cause that are the control panel or
the formatter. Wasn't the control panel. Ready to go. Serial number and
page count have been reset to what the previous formatter were. All menus
changed to previous settings. The menus need to be locked.

Printer name: CAES (HP 4si)
Printer location: 9-366
Printer s/n: USBB137331
Printer tag #: MIT-0268786

Problem: see above
Parts used: C2009-69001 (Formatter Assembly)

Status: CLOSED
