The esg cluster (24-618) is now marginally back up. The
problem was caused by a flakey ethernet connecter on
ESG05(Jabberwock). ESG05 is an RT but it has an external ethernet
connector (one of the ones with flashing lights) because it's internal
board flaked out so often the machine couldn't print (someone offical
from athena made that fix). We probably need a new external connector
box. I'm not sure if the loose connection is in the BNC connector or
inside the box itself. I've taped the thing together well enough for
me to send you this message from the cluster, but if I thump the box
or wires I can crash the whole cluster.

Please come make a perminant fix. The people most
knowledgable about this cluster are defisard and sethf(both @athena).

	Thanks,
	- dAVE mALTZ
