Dear Hotline,
I have a sun sparc 4 workstation named "lees4", located in 10-050,
which has a broken floppy drive. You put the floppy in, but it won't
stay in (just bounces back out). I have power cycled the computer,
and this didn't fix the problem. I was also told that before it was
in this state, it previously wouldn't give up the floppy and everyone
needed to use the paper clip to get it out (eject wouldn't work).
I'll be in next on Tuesday (I don't work every day at MIT). I'd like
to schedule a time when this can be fixed. This computer is used by
many people (especially remotely) and I'd like to give them a heads up
before we take it down for repair.
