Subject: RE: Prof. Chabini 1-263

Hi all,
The above Professor appears to be in a big dilema. He was suppose to be
out of his old office (1-138) today,, and moved into his new area 1-263. He
had called 1410 and stated that he was unable to connect to the network.
I have investigated the failure, and it appears that the jack labled 263B-1
port2 in not functioning. First of all, the utp connection would not fit
properly into this port. Port 1 of this jack is used for his phone. Phone o.k.
There is also another jack present right above 263B jack labled 263A-1.
This jack is also non functional. He is in desperate need of a working network
connection for his new location 1-263. As far as getting him back on the net,
I have worked some magic in the 1-138 office for him, so he can continue his
work before he leaves for a meeting in Greece. He can be reached at the
following extensions. (X3-9614 or X3-0464). If needed, the name of the Sparc4
system in question is Cee3. He is desperate!!
Thanks,
--Lou
