Work is underway on the central chilled water system which was not
expected to interrupt service. However, valves which were being relied
upon to maintain the system in operation do not hold. Consequently we
need to valve the system off at another place which will leave certain
portions of the chilled water system out of service. This includes
buildings 2, 4 and the northern portion of building 6 (the area occupied
by the Physics department) and building 8.
This will affect air conditioning and laboratory process loads.
Service is expected to be restored at some time Wednesday, April 16,
before 5:00 pm.

information line, 3-1300. Any other questions, call Operations Center
at 3-1500.
